1951 Willys-Overland Jeep
This is another paint job that is a must see in person. For obvious reasons, it wins paint awards at every show it attends. The wood was damaged, so we removed it and it looks better than ever – because Bruce airbrushed woodgrain with blue metallic flake and it is incredible. Fans always touch it thinking it is real wood. Bruce used shades of gold and copper on the rest of the body and a very cool feature is Willys-Overland logo that appears to be branded on the Jeep. The best part of this Willys is its owner. At car shows when little kids ooh and ahh over the Jeep he invites them to sit in the driver’s seat while their parents take pictures. It makes everyone’s day to see that generosity.
